Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Adam On It. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the window and door restoration, repair, and installation services we provide. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or engaging with our team, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Estimates and Quotations

All estimates and quotes provided are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on the visual inspection or information provided by the client. Should underlying issues be discovered during the commencement of work (e.g., hidden rot, severe structural damage), we reserve the right to revise the quotation. Any additional work will be discussed and agreed upon with the client before proceeding.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking, especially for supply & fit services requiring custom material orders.
  • The remaining balance is due immediately upon the satisfactory completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Acceptable payment methods include bank transfer and cash. Late payments may incur additional statutory interest charges.

4. Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. We kindly request at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a standard appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Custom material orders (e.g., bespoke glass units or specially mixed paints) that have already been processed cannot be refunded.

Emergency Call-Outs: Once an emergency dispatch has been confirmed and the technician is en route, cancellation will result in a standard call-out charge being applied.

5. Guarantees and Warranties

Adam On It takes immense pride in our craftsmanship. We provide a comprehensive warranty on our services:

  • Spray Painting: Up to a 10-year guarantee against peeling, flaking, or severe fading, subject to standard wear and tear.
  • Hardware Repairs: 12-month warranty on newly fitted handles, hinges, and locks.
  • Glass Units: 5-year guarantee against unit failure (misting between panes) on newly supplied and fitted double-glazed units.

*Please note that warranties are void if the damage is caused by misuse, accidental breakage, severe weather events, or unauthorized third-party alterations.

6. Liability and Property Care

Our team ensures meticulous preparation, including heavy masking and floor protection, to safeguard your property. However, it is the client's responsibility to remove fragile items, furniture, and window dressings from the immediate work area prior to our arrival. Adam On It shall not be held liable for damage to items left in the work vicinity that should have been reasonably cleared.

7. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information collected during the quotation or service process (such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails) is securely stored and used strictly for providing our services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
